No patches or gum are required. No nicotine subsitutes of any kind will be needed. These aids don't help you quit smoking they just transfer your habit to a different medium and prolong the quitting process. |

What format is the book in?
The book is published as a hardback and as an e-book.
The e-book is provided as a downloadable PDF (Portable Document Format) computer file. You can download this to your computer to view or print off. To access the file you will need the Adobe Reader software which can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website. |

How do I buy the book online?
You can purchase the book using this website. You will see 'Buy Now' buttons down the sides of the pages and at the top of each page. Just click one of these buttons and you will be taken to the order form.
Fill in the order form with your name, email address, delivery address and payment method. Enter a reference if you have been given one and click 'Confirm'. You will have a chance to check your details are correct and then click the 'Submit Order' button ONCE. You will then be taken to a payment form. |

Where else can I buy the book?
You will be able to purchase the hardback in most major bookshops and other shops. If you have problems finding the book in your local store then ask the shopkeeper to order a copy for you.

What methods of payment do you accept?
You can post a cheque or postal order, or you can pay online using your credit or debit card. If you pay online then you will receive your order more quickly and, if you ordered an e-book, you can download it immediately. If you pay by cheque you will have to wait until it clears. We will inform you by email when we receive your cheque or postal order.

How long will the hardcopy take to be delivered?

How do I see the status of my order or view my order page?
You will see a link entitled 'Your Order' at the top of each page. Click this to view your order page. You may be asked to supply your Order ID and Security Code. Type these into the form and click the 'View Order' button.
Your order page will tell you the status of your order and your order details. If you ordered the e-book then you will be able to download it from this page too.
Your order will have one of the following statuses:- Awaiting Payment - you need to pay for your order. A link will be provided to a payment form.
- Payment Received - We have received your payment. If you have paid online by credit card then you book will be dispatched as soon as possible or your e-book will be ready for download straight away. If you paid by cheque or postal order then you will have to wait until the payment clears.
- Book Dispatched - Your book has been sent to our couriers and should be delivered to you shortly.
- Cancelled - Your order has been cancelled on your request or because you returned the book.

Where do I find my Order ID and Security Code?
You will receive your Order ID and Security Code after you have purchased a book from this website. They are sent to the email address you entered into the order form. The email should be delivered a few minutes after ordering, but if you haven't received it after a few hours then you can get it resent |

My Order ID or Security Code doesn't work
If you enter your Order ID and Security Code into the form to view your order but they are rejected then first of all check that you have entered them exactly as they appear in your email. The format should be like this:- Order ID - 7-digit number
- Security Code - 10 character password which is case sensitive
If you still cannot access your order then check you have cookies enabled on your browser. A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer containing a unique ID so that our website can 'remember' who you are. If you don't know how to enable cookies then please contact you Internet Service Provider (e.g. AOL, BT, Blueyonder) |

How do I download the e-book?
If you ordered an e-book then you can download it from your order page once your payment has been received. If you are paying by cheque then you will have to wait until it has cleared (this may take up to 10 working days).
To download the e-book click on the download hyperlink on your order page. You should see a 'File Download' window appear. Click on the 'Save' button to save the e-book to your computer. When prompted, choose a folder to save your e-book into. Please make a note of the destination to which you saved the e-book so you can find it later!
The download may take a few minutes depending on the speed of your Internet connection. |

How many times can I download the e-book?
You can download the e-book 3 times. This will allow you to download a new copy if you lose it or if your Internet connection fails whilst downloading it. Always save a copy to your computer. |

We have tested the download on all the major web browsers and on different computers, however some people still may have problems due to the configuration of their software.

How do I view the e-book?
You view the book using the Adobe Reader software. We recommend you use the latest version of the software - at least version 6 or above. You may already have this installed on your computer (many people do) but if not you can download this for free from Adobe's website.
